No, not this site – I still love this colorful theme and don’t plan on changing it for a good long while.
But I did spend about six hours working on my art website. I found that I didn’t like the shop function once I got it up and running – and the theme I had selected wasn’t quite what I wanted either. So I did away with the whole thing and picked out a more elegantly simple theme. I took out the entire shopping section and instead have all pictures on the “Items for Sale” page linked directly to my Etsy shop for people to buy anything they like. I also added a page dedicated to art/craft fairs in which I will be participating (looks like I’ll be averaging one a month if I can find one for October).
In other news, I think I found the tent I want to use for my booth. I told Denis that I wouldn’t just use it for the booths, but that it could be invaluable to use this summer in our own backyard as well. It’s the perfect size, it has walls, and the price can’t be beat compared to some of the other canopies/screenhouses I’ve seen online that start over $200 and don’t look nearly as nice. I told Denis I wanted to wait until I visit the Art Market next week to ensure that the screenhouse pictured is the one I want. If it looks like it’ll work, I’ll order it next Thursday evening once I get home from the Art Market.
I also finally found the Business License form for Fort Mill. I had scoured the various town websites and don’t know how I missed the “Business License Form” link on the front page of the town’s website!! *lol* Unless my recent email to the Town Manager prompted him to put it on there. Either way, I’ll put that in tomorrow’s mail once I finish filling it in with my state license info and call for the fees that are due (which are prorated).
