Am I the only one that wishes that they’d just boot off ten people tonight and let Melinda and LaKisha battle it out for the next three months?
I’m not even going to bother with a full recap since a lot of bloggers have that this morning. But suffice to say that some good people really messed up last night (notably Brandon forgetting his words and Chris Sligh obliterating a lovely song in an attempt to be Chris Martin from Coldplay). And of all the Diana Ross songs in the world (there are PLENTY OF THEM) why on earth did Chris Richardson pick “The Boss”?
Suffice to say, Melinda and LaKisha (Kiki!!) were the only standouts and their performances make me feel like the rest of the season is a complete waste until these two are in the final two. That’s one amazing finale we’re going to have if America votes the right way.
Agreed, and the only reason to tune in is to be able to hear those two sing each week.
Last week it was Melinda on top.
This week it is Lakisha.
It’s going to be tough top two.
Don’t mean to disappoint you, but Haley, Chris Richardson, and Blake will linger because of the cute factor, and may even upset the better performers because of that issue alone. We’ve determined that if either of the front two (in terms of talent) are booted, we’re tuning out from that point on.
Okay, it’s an empty threat…but we like to pretend we’re serious about it.
