One of my favorite movies is “Little Voice” starring Jane Harrocks as a meek mousy woman who can only come alive on stage when she imitates Shirley Bassey or Judy Garland. Co-starring Brenda Blethyn (who is HILARIOUS) and Michael Caine, it’s a GREAT movie.
So imagine how excited I was when Denis found out that that a theater in Glasgow is running the play while we’re in town? It only took me half a sec to ask him to buy tickets. So we’ll be seeing this play tonight, our last night in Scotland. I can’t think of a more memorable way to spend our final evening before we fly home tomorrow!
