Congrats go to Beau and my sister Jen, who gave birth at 3 a.m. this morning to a bouncing baby boy. Baby Jesse was born a month early (Jen has had a difficult pregnancy) but he still managed to weigh in at 7 lbs 5 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long! Imagine if he had baked the additional month needed for a traditional pregnancy term!! He would have been GINORMOUS.

So how cool is that??!! Congratulations to everybody, I’m so glad that all seems to be going well. I know that Jen and Beau will be very happy to get everyone home after the long hospital stay! You’ll like being a “blood” aunt! Today is my sister’s birthday too and she is pretty nice, so it must be a good day for a birthday!
