I’m amazed that this movie is the top grossing movie of 2006. Because I didn’t think it was all that great. Sure, parts of it were fun – like the three-way swordfight towards the end – but for the most part it was a wandering mess of a movie that didn’t really have too much of a point because there was a Part III also being made at the same time. This is the true example of “filler” material. The third one better be a heck of a lot better or else this franchise will be much like Mission Impossible where only the FIRST one is any good (although admittedly, I have only seen the first “MI”, so I can’t really judge, but I’ve heard enough bad things about the other two to make a prediction).
