WW: No, I Haven’t Given It Up

So today I went to what would have been my first meeting in over a month. I say “Would have been” because when I got there, there were at least 30 women ahead of me waiting for their weigh-in. Each weigh-in takes approximately 3 minutes (weigh-in, fill in tracking booklet, get this week’s materials). Even with two lines going, I would have been there 45 minutes just waiting to weigh-in. So I left. I’ll go back next week, when I know at least 1/4 of those women will NOT be there for whatever reason. Technically this is the first meeting of 2007 (since Jan 1 was a holiday), so I’m not surprised by the amount of people that came to the meeting. Our meeting leader told us a while back that the first meeting of the year is always huge, and then begins dwindling as the weeks go by just because a lot of people do NOT keep up with their resolutions.

And besides, I plan on getting to the gym starting this week once I get my security key and would like to have the scale reflect that next Monday.
