A New Look

By tonight I hope to have a new look for Cootiehog. I have loved the theme I’m using now, but I think I’m ready for a change. That’s not to say the current look won’t come back – in fact, my goal for 2007 is to be skin-enabled so that readers can pick whatever view they want. But since a lot of my sidebar info is hardcoded as opposed to PHP, that may not happen. We’ll see. In any case, hopefully by tonight we’ll be able to present the New and Improved (Hopefully) Cootiehog.com!

Update at 7:12 p.m.: So what do you think? I’ll probably change out the tulip picture in the header, as well as tweak the sidebars a bit, but this is the new theme for the next several months. I quite like it! Missing info (books, netflix, event calendar, etc.) to come eventually…

Update at 8:28 p.m.: Okay, all the extras are in. I was motivated to get it done and was able to bring in all our old information. The sidebars are REALLY long, and I may see if I can reduce the spacing a bit to have them be shorter, but at least it’s all in now.

Update at 12:20 a.m.: I’ve put up a new header graphic that is more my style. The theme as a whole is fantastic, but the tulips just had to go.
