The head of HR just came over to me to let me know that Skater is getting another secretary. They are doing some shuffling up on the 3rd floor, and because of that, a secretary up there had a spot available and was able to take on Skater’s workload (he also sits on the 3rd floor).
This means I’ll be working for Mr. BIL and only Mr. BIL until they hire an associate to work in the estates section, at which time I’ll then support that person.
As much as I love Skater – he’s a GREAT guy – I’m very happy with this decision because I HATED doing all those edits to those documents day in and day out. I’m much happier doing estate stuff, which is infinitely more interesting.
