This morning I was getting ready for work when Denis said something – some word – some nothing word – and I suddenly remembered.
“OH CRAP!” I hollered, looking at the clock. “I have to be out of here in ten minutes or I’ll be late for our staff meeting.”
Fortunately, I only had to get dressed at that point, so I was able to get to the meeting with 3 minutes to spare, but I’m so grateful I remembered at 7:52 a.m. as opposed to 8:20 a.m.
That nothing word was “time” as in “What time are we meeting?” Probably reminded you that you had some other place to be at a certain TIME. LOL
Or the word “meeting” – since I had a meeting to attend. Either way, I’m glad I remembered!
Yes, I’m glad you remembered too. I was going to ask you for the past few days when your next office meeting was so you wouldn’t be late for it again.
