Yesterday CootieBoy and I spent some time together watching “Hookwinked”, the retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story from a new perspective. CootieBoy was riveted and not even Cooper the Dog trying to lay on top of CootieBoy could tear his eyes away from the tv screen.
It’s rare for a movie to enthrall CootieBoy, he of little patience or willingness to sit still for longer than 10 minutes. But we cuddled under blankets and watched the whole thing, and he giggled through a lot of it, so he was definitely enjoying it.
I enjoyed it too. I would have been ticked to pay full price in a theater for a movie that was only 1 hour and 15 minutes long. But it was a great rental.
