Last night I spent some time hanging some pictures around the house. In the process I was able to unpack five boxes. I concentrated on Denis’ office and made a nice arrangement of our quirky art on the main wall. I’m rather pleased with the outcome, although a nit-picker would complain that it’s not perfect. I also hung a few more pictures around the house and it’s looking good so far. The picture rail thing is harder than it looks. It’s tough to get the pictures perfectly straight. I wanted to hang three pictures, one below the other, from the picture rail and had to kind of fake it. The end result works, but if one were to look closely they’d see it’s kind of a “patch job” as opposed to a true “picture rail hanging”. I’m sure by the time I’m done I’ll be a pro, but right now I have NO IDEA how to use picture rails correctly. *lol*
Tonight once trick-or-treating is done with the kids we really need to put boxes in the attic, and I’m also hoping to finally put away the rest of the DVDs and videos. That’ll clear out five more boxes from the dining room “holding area”.
