YAY for “Medium” coming back next week. And Allison has a new super-cute haircut! And Patricia Arquette’s husband (hottie Thomas Jane) is in the 2-hr premiere episode! YAY!
In case any wonders (I doubt you do, but whatever) I have been batting .000 in the “Brilliant But Cancelled” pool over at Bravo.com. I have yet to pick a single show right. I picked “Runaway” a couple weeks ago but it was cancelled earlier THIS week so no good for me. I keep picking “Help Me Help You” because you know that show won’t last – but it keeps hanging on despite hardly even airing. I read today that “Twenty Good Years” (the John Lithgow comedy) is being put on the shelf after only two weeks. I would have thought that it would stick around a few more weeks just because it’s John Lithgow. Guess not.
In other TV news, I haven’t seen “Lost” in over two weeks since my Tivo failed to tape last week’s episode. I did record last night’s eppy but don’t want to watch it until I see last week’s, which I PRAY is still available online.
I also missed the season premiere of “Veronica Mars” due to Tivo issues, but have the next three episodes Tivo’d. I watch one last night and I continue to adore this show. Our little Veronica is in college now and it looks like it’ll be a much better season than last season (which suffered sophomore season blues).
In other news, “The Office” continues to absolutely delight me. And “My Name Is Earl” is even better than last season. I just read they are moving “30 Rock” and “Scrubs” to Thursdays which means that NBC will have a nice little 2-hour block of fun on that night (and while I don’t watch “Scrubs” I can appreciate that it has a huge fanbase).
“How I Met Your Mother” has been fantastic this season – I absolutely love it (Neil Patrick Harris rules) and next to “The Office” it’s my only other real *must-see* comedy. On the flip side, “The Class” is horrible. I don’t know the character names, but the guy that is the contractor who is in love with the blonde married to the football player? He can’t act. He’s horrible to watch. I gave this show three episodes and then just gave up when it didn’t improve.
I could go on and on. So happy to have Tivo back – even if it isn’t working quite right yet (on the new HD box we’re supposed to be able to watch a third channel even if recording on two but that function isn’t working).
Love The Office so much.
I’m more into the dramas than comedies these days. The Office is about the only comedy I watch.
Last night’s LOST was good. You must watch last week’s episode soon.
Yay to getting your TiVo back! I’d be so lost without my DVR.
Congrats on getting your TV watching habits back.
All I have to say is I agree 100% in regards to your opinion on THE CLASS. The worst show in the world. I have to sit through it because Anthony loves it. It makes my ears bleed and my teeth itch. I pray for an early grave. (for the show, not me)
You should see the picture of her on MSN. It’s, well, see for yourself! It shocked me a bit…definately a cute haircut…but it’s certainly not the first thing you notice. By the way, it’s my favorite show! I’ve watched it since the beginning:)

Kate – Yikes! Now why did she go and do that to herself? Hope that was just a really bad push-up job, not surgery.
Ace – buck up – the show will not be on tv much longer (we hope)!!
I’m thinking it was bad push-up…I think she’s always been a little bit bigger in her chest than someone her size…
Or atleast I hope it was!
