Denis confirmed this morning that the sellers of our house are planning on having the repairs done rather than give us a rebate at closing. That works for me because it means that once we close I can just go in and paint the two murals for the kids’ rooms and then we can move in.
Denis is also going to the doctor today for a full physical. He had some chest pains this weekend and while he’s a pretty healthy guy we know it’s time for him to start getting annual checkups. So today is his first one.
CootieGirl’s staph infection is getting better. She is still paranoid that everytime we change her bandaid that she is going to be squeezed but since we haven’t squeezed since, what, Friday?, she is getting better. And so are her bumps. Why, in a few days I may be able to take her into the pool again knowing she isn’t going to infect the whole place.
CootieBoy is a hoot. He still hates going to bed but last night I sat with him in the rocker and told him a couple stories (The Three Bears, Three Little Pigs). I was nearing the end of the second story when he popped his head up from my shoulder and said, “Mommy, Bob the Builder!” I laughed and said, “I don’t know any Bob the Builder stories, CootieBoy.” He took my face in his hands and very urgently repeated, “Bob the Builder”. So I had Bob the Builder come in and fix up the straw and wood houses for the two little pigs.
Big Brother Live Feeds. Yes I still have them. My 14-day free subscription expired while we were in VA for Glad-ball’s wedding, so I’ll keep them for the remainder of the season and then cancel. All I have to say is that I sincerely hope that Janelle is playing Will as much as he’s playing her. Because if she’s not? I’m heartbroken for her. Erika not so much, since why she would even consider hooking up with grotesque Mike Boogie is beyond me. At this point I don’t know what is considered spoiler material, so if you don’t read transcripts or watch the feeds, then stop reading this post right now. Janelle needs to boot Erika tonight then win HOH and boot Will. Sure that will make for a SUPER-boring house in the final week, but it will also guarantee a win for Janelle. If she wins HOH and keeps Will than we’ll all know that she is NOT playing him, which is so much more tragic because if she keeps Will I don’t think she’ll have the votes to win. What’s amazing is that Will is playing THE EXACT SAME GAME as he played in Season Two – and once again it’s WORKING. *updated to say* Holy cow – the stuff that came out at 3:00 a.m. BBT on the feeds is AMAZING. I LOVE JANELLE!!!
