Make That Three Favorite Songs

A few days ago I mentioned that I can’t get enough of the song “Colorful” by the Verve Pipe which is featured at the end of the mediocre movie “Rock Star”. Well, the next day I discovered that another great song is “Come What May” from the god-awful “Moulin Rouge” – that’s a beautiful song. However, this morning I realized that there’s another song that I could listen to over and over again and not get sick of (in fact, I did play this song about 7 times during my 1 hour commute to work). It’s Michelle Branch’s “Something to Sleep To”. That’s a great song. So basically, odds are strong throughout the day that you’ll see one if not all of those songs appearing in my musiclist on the left. For instance, I’m listening to “Colorful” right as I type this in.

I’ve been meaning to tell you that I think I’ve seen all of Moulin Rouge now. I would catch bits and pieces while surfing. I don’t think it’s as horrible as you say. Don’t get me wrong, it’s awful, but I’ve seen worse. *thinking of Starship Troopers*

And I do like that song from the movie…

My boss finally saw “Moulin Rouge” for the first time. He couldn’t get over how amazing a film it was, said that it has changed his life. I swear that man smokes up too much.

Speaking of that movie and unforgettable songs, Nicole Kidman sings a few lines taken from “Gorecki” by Lamb. If you can find this song, I suggest you give it a listen or ten. It is one of the most beautiful songs you will ever hear in your life. Ever.

That’s freaky. I was just singing “Come What May” in my head when I read that. Weird.
