So after getting all excited about that house we saw yesterday we remembered a FSBO that we saw this weekend in the same development. And in many ways it’s a better house – it has several upgrades that aren’t in yesterday’s house. The main ones are:
1) Separate living/family rooms
2) Gourmet kitchen
3) Hardwood floors
4) Irrigation system in front/back yards
5) Security system
6) 2-zone HVAC

So now we’ve put in a call to the FSBO owner to see if we can tour the house again without the kids so that we can really look deeply at the house. Because despite having a MUCH smaller backyard, this one has more to offer for the money in that it is truly in MOVE IN condition and would only need a couple rooms painted over.
Mom sent me the link to this house listing. I like it a lot. Of course, I haven’t seen the specs on the other house, but I think this may be a better bet despite the smaller back yard. Truth is I think you need the house space more than you need the yard space.
