I think AI5 finally had it’s Moment. Everyone has been waiting for it, and last night it happened.
Kat sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and it was everything a performance should be: heartfelt, touching, perfect for the singer, and an absolute and total showstopper.
Taylor came close to The Moment – his rendition of “You Are So Beautiful To Me” was also wonderful, but NOTHING compared to Kat’s song.
Poor Elliott, saddled with three bad songs (only one of which he can blame himself for), he will definitely get the boot tonight unless “Vote For The Worst” has it’s way with us and gets rid of Taylor.
See, I thought Taylor was great last night, but I thought his version of Something was better than You Are So Beautiful. But you’re exactly right about Katherine – that was perfection.
Katherine was really on with her performance. I’m not sure she can follow-up her performance with something better than that.
