So I admit I was a bit out of it while watching AI5 because I was going through assorted boxes that got delivered from BB&B, Target and Betty Crocker. Between wedding gifts galore (three weddings this summer!) and my own BC order you’d think we were stocking the house!
Only part of the Betty Crocker order came in – a lot of stuff is either backordered or just not available anymore. A few fun kids’ things arrived – the kite and a couple pool items for them to enjoy this summer if I can teach CootieGirl how to actually swim and go underwater without choking on water. The only thing being returned is the set of strainers – they were called “superfine” strainers (meaning very small holes for straining), but they are just plain old regular strainers. So back they go since we already have regular strainers! And besides, since I’m leaning away from having a Baby #3 we don’t need superfine strainers much anymore (for making formula bottles in bulk).

Back to AI5 talk.
So last night I was a bit scattered, so I didn’t pay strict attention, but my thoughts on the singers:
Chris was decent – glad he chose a slow sensitive song and he did well.
Paris was bad – I didn’t like her performance at all, but then I’m over the whole “I sound like Billie” thing she does. And don’t get me started on her outfit.
Taylor – it seemed boring to me. So boring that I don’t remember much about it.
Elliott – sounded a bit rough but did okay. May be in the bottom three though.
Katherine – she was great. Loved it.
Ace – the phonytail alone should get him booted. Song was meh.
who else is there? who did I miss? Chris, Paris, Taylor, Elliott, Katherine, Ace and….dang, I do this every week. Oh – Pickler. She won’t go home because she’ll get the pity vote for so obviously hating her own performance.
Bottom three? Ace, Elliot, Paris. I’ll go with the shocker and pick PARIS as the one going home. Even though it’s Ace that deserves to.
Oh, I have to disagree. I LOVED Paris! What an old soul – vocally, anyway – she is. I can’t believe what comes out of her mouth. But I do agree with you about Katharine; she was amazing, too.
I think Ace will leave tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elliott goes, though.
Paris was awesome!!!! She was born to sing this genre. OK, Katherine was best, but Paris was a very close second. Gosh, I hope you’re wrong about your prediction. :pray:
Maybe it’s me, but I am not the big fan of Katherine that everyone else seems to be. She puts off Big Time Phoney vibes to me and it affects my thinking of her talent, I suppose. Not that she wasn’t excellent last night, but I wasn’t as enthused as everyone else.
I’m thinking Pickler will be going home.
I thought Taylor was doomed through most of his song, but then he Taylored it up at the end and saved himself.
Jaynee may be leaning against the third baby, but I’m still up for it. Just want to set the record straight.
