This was the last of my “free Showtime weekend” movies. Starring Greg Kinnear, Rebecca Romijn and Robert DeNiro, it is the story of a couple who clone their dead 8-yr-old son only to have his personality change once the clone turns 8.
It didn’t take me long to figure out how this one would end. I’ve seen enough thriller movies at this point that it’s rare for a truly original one to come down the pike. While I’m glad I finally saw it, the movie was very disappointing. As Denis said, “There are probably 1000s of cloning movies out there and this one was lucky enough to get financing.”
