The new Betty Crocker catalog arrived last week announcing that they are closing their doors. I was surprised – the BC Catalog has been around forever. I flipped through and marked things that had already interested me but I had never taken the time to order. When Denis got home I gave it to him and said, “Flip through and let me know if there is anything you want in here.”
When he was done he said that there wasn’t anything he wanted. “Well, can I place an order for some Fiestaware? Betty Crocker carries some stuff that is made exclusively for them and once they close their doors I can’t get them anymore.”
“Can you pay by credit card?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“Then go for it.”
So, I went on last night and put in a HUGE order. HUGE. I got a mix of kitchen stuff, Fiestaware and a couple things for the kids. I can’t even imagine how many boxes are going to be delivered to our house.
Yes, we’re broke and can’t afford that stuff, but that’s what credit cards are for, right? WWwwwhhhhhheeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
:cheer:
I meant to tell you, half of those items (including the mini-muffin tray) we didn’t need. Getting your Fiesta was okay, but we didn’t need most of the other kitchen stuff you checked off. Oh, well. We can just throw it in the garage sale.
Most of the stuff I ordered was Fiesta, with a few other things tossed in.
I like the Fiesta with the cherries and the ladybugs!!
Ooh, I love Fiestaware! Please post photos for us once the ginormous order arrives, I can’t wait to see what cool exclusive stuff they have.
What Meghan said!! 🙂
I am going to that site right now to see if there’s anything *I* *neeeeed*.
Oh! I neeeeeeeed that castle bundt pan!! :w00t:
