So much like Simon expressed last night, I too thought that any of the final twelve could be in the bottom three last night. So I won’t say I was surprised by the final three, nor was I surprised at who got the boot.

*SPOILER ALERT*

I am a bit surprised that McPheever got put in the bottom three, but I was happy when Simon admitted that the song as we saw it on tv was not good. Cuz it wasn’t. I suppose there are so many Chris, Taylor, Paris fans that even the normally good ones get put in the bottom three.

So long, little Lisa. You were great in auditions but fell flat performing in front of an audience. Wishing you luck on Broadway!

I’m always amazed at how lousy the quarter-finalists are when they get to Hollywood. It’s obvious that some singers can’t sing “on the fly” and it’s amazing that folks with musical ability can’t follow a piano. In my mind, music is music – whether it’s a live piano or the radio, you should be able to keep up if you can sing well.

I can’t believe how much the Brittenum twins are being featured – I’m interested to see how AI5 finally gives them the boot seeing as they watched last night’s episode from JAIL. No one really stood out for me although I did like a few of the non-featured folks that finally got their 15 seconds on screen.
