I was very worried about this movie when it got off to a very slow start (so slow, in fact, that Denis was asleep about ten minutes after it started). However, one the story finally got going it was quite fun to watch. I love Jodie Foster and love yummy Sean Bean, so it had that going for it.
This is the tale of a woman who is flying on a super-jumbo jet with her daughter from Berlin to America after the death of her husband in a freak accident. While en route her daughter disappears and the woman frantically begins to search for her daughter on the plane. But she’s nowhere to be found.
I avoided a lot of the reviews when this came out because I had heard that it had a “plot twist”. I think having avoided all of talk I was able to enjoy this movie a lot more than if I had known exactly what was going to happen throughout the movie. For the longest time I DIDN’T know what had happened to her daughter and couldn’t fathom a guess.
Mildly entertaining, this one was a good rental.
