Well, my hair didn’t turn pink. But it didn’t turn blonde either. It’s just a brighter strawberry than the magenta I had previously. *sigh*
I may go platinum. I am friends with a girl who does hair, and she did her own hair a few weeks ago in a really nice platinum. I may see if she wants to do mine and just strip out all the color and put a nice super-light blonde in.
I had to laugh after I got all the color in my hair – I could tell it was NOT going to come out blonde at all. Good thing the dye I bought was on sale for $5.
You could try again with the same stuff to see what happens.
At this point in your life, you are going to have a serious root issue if you go platinum. When you were *younger* and still had, shall we say, real blonde hair, the roots weren’t an issue. You’ll be coloring it every two weeks to maintain the lighter color. I’d say stay with what you’ve just done for a while or, as Jen said, just try the same one over again.
“One of these days your hair is going to fall out.”
I like your hair a stawberry blonde. I think it looks the best on you. I agree with your mother regarding the roots issue. I will call you white trash, but never behind your back.
In my honest opinion, I think you should slow down on the Dying of your hair. Aren’t you supposed to wait a few weeks in between dye jobs?
You aren’t going to have hair to dye if you keep this up. :eyepop:
No pink? Doesn’t “brighter strawberry” count as pink (warm pink )? I’ll bet one more dose of the same will help though, as long as that “doesn’t make your hair fall out.” I don’t know if there’s any truth to the claim, but I’ve heard that the OTC haircolors are much more damaging than the ones hairdressers use…supposedly.
