One of my tasks this week is to get started in building these one-sheeters that outline our potential clients’ financial information. It’s a task that Mr. Professor normally does, but Mr. Russell has asked me to also do it since we have about 200+ of these things to make over the next few months. Mr. Professor sat down with my on Friday for about 30 minutes to go over the sheet and where I would find all of the information.
I tackled my other tasks yesterday knowing that today I would begin working on these prospect sheets. So this morning when I arrived at work I was rarin’ to go, prepared to get at least 10 done today.
It’s 11:03 a.m. and I’ve only gotten two started, and even then I can only find about 45% of the information for each. Out of twenty-five items on the info sheet, I can only find eleven, and at least three of those are “no brainer” items like CFO name and official title and headquarters location.
I’m going to continue – I may just find that 45% for as many prospects as I can find, and let Mr. Professor do the more advanced research. Either way it’ll save HIM time, I’ll be contributing, and perhaps Mr. Russell will realize that it’s not necessary to do all 200+ prospects (Mr. Professor certainly doesn’t think it’s necessary and said as much on Friday).
In other news, El Presidente just came over and asked me to work on a presentation for him. His secretary is here but he’d prefer I work on it.
