I got the call from the realtor – the seller accepted our offer but balked at tearing out the footings. So we said that was fine and have opted to keep the footings on the off-chance we can use them. The realtor will be getting the floorplans from the seller that go with the footings, and we’ll see if we can work with it – if not, we’ll still try to use the footings in some capacity so they don’t go completely to waste. We’ll see.
In anyway, the process to close begins now – closing is set for January 30.
