Okay, so today Denis is going to drive the 1 hour over to the PA border to pick up some Powerball tix. And I’m sure we’ll pick up a couple MegaMillions as well. Last night when perusing the Powerball website I was shocked to find that the take home on $340M is “only” $115M! That’s shocking – I don’t know of any other lottery that takes out SO MUCH off the top of a prize. MegaMillions is at $90M right now and the NJ take home on that is $39M – a substantially better percentage.
