It’s 6:52 a.m. and I’ve already been at work for about ten minutes. It’s gonna be a LONG day. Not much posting.
Update at 12:01 p.m.: I am now printing out the first draft of my InDesign document. It still needs a LOT of work, but the bulk of it is done. Now it’s a matter of them nit-picking their changes and finalizing those, and then signing off on the dozen or so graphics that go in so that I can format those and put them in the document. For six straight hours I’ve been staring at my computer. I need a break and lunchtime has arrived just in time!
Why has your work week been so crazy this week. Are you in early due to the fact that you might be leaving early? I can’t remember if you are leaving early today or not.
I am NOT leaving early – I’ll be here until probably closer to 5:30 p.m. depending on how this brochure input goes.
As of now all the text has been input and spacing and fonts applied, but now I have to insert placeholders for all the graphics and apply bold to all company names mentioned in the brochure. I’m hoping to have my first most basic pass-through done in the next hour.
Wow, bummer.
