The city is crazy today. For one thing, my commute was record time this morning – I left the house at 7:15 a.m. and was at my office by 8:10 a.m. That has never happened – it just doesn’t happen on public transport, especially a TWO-SEAT ride. Shocking.
Upon arriving at Port Authority Bus Terminal there were a few fire trucks, ambulances and tons of cops. There is a construction site across from the PABT and it looked as though there was a major accident on the work site.
Then a few blocks up there was a small car accident on 8th Avenue – fortunately the cops who were all at PABT got a cop to the scene quickly since it was only a few blocks away.
Not to mention the landslide uptown yesterday.
My commute was easy this morning, too. I worry about tonight’s. *sigh*
