Entry 1500

We’re on Entry #1500 here at Cootiehog. :cheer:

My mother’s day was nice yesterday. Church was good (despite music paranoia), then once we got CootieGirl and CootieBoy down for a nap I was able to settle on the sofa and proceeded to have a nice 2 1/2 hour nap myself. It was downright glorious.

Upon waking up (same time as the kids), CootieGirl and I made brownies together and then Denis started on dinner. It was a good dinner – lobster tails and french fries. Yum! We discovered that CootieGirl loves ketchup more than any person alive. She would take a fry and then drench it in ketchup, slurp off the sauce and then doubledip. Fortunately, she was doing this off of Denis’ plate, not mine.

We bothered our neighbors for a bit (we’re King and Queen of the Pop-In) then came back and put the kiddies to bed around 8 p.m.

One movie later and it was bedtime, although because of my nap I ended up staying awake until after midnight. But that’s okay – it was a nice day nonetheless!
