Okay, so CootieGirl’s eye is all messed up – Denis made a pediatrician appointment for today at 2 p.m. to find out what the problem is. It was a bit swollen last night, and she has dark circles under her eyes. Denis said this morning when she woke up she had some mucus in her eye – I really hope it’s not pink eye because I touch her face all the time and probably run my hands over her eyes several times during the course and think nothing of it.
And I’m still not feeling up to par. I’m feeling a bit warm today despite the fact that the AC is cranked up in my part of the office. My hands are freezing, but my face is hot. Never a good sign.
Had a miserable morning – woke up late again. This time change has killed me and my ability to wake up at my usual time. I’ve got a raging headache on the verge of being a migraine. Commute took longer than expected so I got here late again. I’ve been busy as all get out here at the office and still have so many things to do and fear I won’t get them done before the end of the day.
And I’m about to go lead the Admin Task Force meeting that we have once a month. No idea how it’ll go – could be complete disaster now that the admin dynamics have changed. My expectations are quite low for this one.
I’m just in a generally miserable mood today. Don’t want to work – as in “at all”. Very low morale for me today.
Pooey! I hate crappy days. I shut off my alarm this morning (before it went off)CONVINCED that today was a weekend or a holiday or something. The good news is – this (work) day is no more than another 5-6 hours long and then it’s over. Hang in there!!
I hope it’s not pink eye, but I hate to tell you, it is going around. Remember Wanda? Her daughter had the same symptoms and when she took her to the doctor, they confirmed it was pink eye. Poor CootieGirl!
