So I bet you always wondered what the Cooties do when their TV doesn’t work because the satellite dish is covered with snow and can’t transmit?
Well, first you have to remember that it takes me 2 hours to get home in bad weather. So I got home at 7 p.m. Then Toddler Daughter got a bath and delayed going to bed until about 7:50 p.m. Then I microwaved a Lean Cuisine pizza and ran to the attic to watch “Survivor” because we have cable in the attic. Then Denis and CootieBoy joined me at about 8:30 p.m. at which point I gave CootieBoy a bottle (which he proceeded to spit up all over me) while Denis ate his dinner and played on the computer.
Then a little after nine I put Infant Son down for the night and came back up to the attic and that’s when the real fun began.
Oh yeah. We played.
Electronic Battleship! The link may be to Target, but it’s actually Toys R Us having the mondo sale. All games are Buy One Get One Free and we stocked up. For the next several years CootieGirl will be getting such good games as Connect Four, Electronic Clue, Mousetrap, Perfection, Chutes & Ladders, Candyland, and Operation. We bought Electronic Battleship for ourselves.
It was a tough match, but in the end I won by a landslide. I sunk all five of his ships because he finished off any of mine. Three of mine were wounded, but two were completely unharmed. And he was destroyed.
Tee hee.
It’s just about 10 p.m. and we still have no satellite and “Alias” sucks hard tonight. Just thought I’d throw that in there.
