Movie: Anchorman – The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Last night we watched Will Farrell’s “Anchorman”. I love Will Farrell. He can do little wrong in my opinion. “Anchorman” didn’t disappoint – I laughed out loud several times and it was an enjoyable fluffy movie.

The movie is about a pompous anchorman in the 1970s who has to change with the times and acknowledge that women can be anchorpeople too. Christina Applegate is his love interest/anchor competition.

Denis liked it better than “Harold and Kumar”, and I have to admit I liked “H&K” just a little bit better (but only a tiny bit). My favorite line from “Anchorman” (which makes no sense unless you’ve seen the movie): “Milk was the wrong choice.” I had tears in my eyes when he said that. Favorite scene: the Afternoon Delight quartet.

And could Baxter be any cuter?

3 1/2 sexy stars out of five.

Hey, I have Collateral and Eternal Sunshine…at the moment. You want me to bring them with this weekend?

I’d like to watch “Eternal Sunshine” again, but it wasn’t anything to write home about the first time I saw it. I used to like “indie” movies. What happened to me?

Anchorman is on it’s way to us…we missed it in the theater so I’m anxious to see it now!

I also enjoyed Anchorman, even though it was a bit weird to listen to Will talk like William Shatner the whole time.

My fav quote is “I like desk?”
