Movie: Once Upon a Time in Mexico & Dodgeball

Finally got around to seeing my other two Netflix movies that I took to Virginia last week. I watched Once Upon a Time in Mexico in small 10-15 minute increments each day and finished it the day before we drove home.

I think even I had seen the movie all in one go it would have sucked. That movie was just bad – a horrible way to finish out the Mariachi trilogy. Despite having two fake boyfriends: Antonio Banderas and Johnny Depp (will he ever be “John Depp” or will we be calling him “Johnny” even when he’s 75?).

After returning home Denis and I watched “Dodgeball”, the Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughn comedy. The movie was just okay, but hands down my favorite part of the DVD was the “alternate ending” which was hilarious and the section dedicated to Justin Long, an actor I adore. The extra footage where he gets pounded time after time with the dodgeball had me rolling – I watched it multiple times. He gets hit over 30 times with dodgeballs and always gets up. It’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while.

I saw Once Upon A Time In Mexico, and thought it was awful. It was such a waste of money and time. I’m glad to hear about someone else who didnt like it, either.

I found you on Blex, by the way!
