So imagine how happy I was when I realized this morning that out of my three bosses, NONE of them are here today. Two are in DC and one is in St. Louis. That is so awesome.
And because I have absolutely nothing to do today I’ve been reading Television Without Pity’s recap of the first episode of The Amazing Race 6. I don’t talk a lot about this show, but it is hands-down one of the best reality shows on tv nowadays. There’s a reason it has won two Emmy’s in a row for best reality series.
We’re already heading into Week 4 on the show, which puts me severely behind reading the hilarious recap’s courtesy of Miss Alli, but trust me when I say that these recaps will bring tears to your eyes. I’ve been crying and snorting at my desk all morning long.
In other TV news, I had hoped to send in an application to “The Biggest Loser” and found out only last night that they are interviewing TODAY here in NYC. If I had known that all three of my bosses were out today I would have made an effort to get up early this morning and gussy myself up for an audition. But instead I slept in until 7 a.m. and had barely enough time to brush my teeth and get dressed before shuttling out the door (yes, this means I haven’t showered today. Bite me.)
Another reason I’m glad it’s a light day is because I was out at band rehearsal all last night and didn’t get home until 10:45p which is late when you have two young children and usually head to bed by 10:00-10:30p. I think I was asleep by 11:01p.
Please tell me you Tivo’d LOST – great episode last night.
Yes, it has been tivo’d and I’ll probably watch it tomorrow while cleaning the house.
“Lost”, now that’s a show that I don’t watch anymore. Any cool people die off in the past 4-5 episodes that I have missed
Was the first episode of The amazing Race where they had to count or build the desk? I got sucked right into the tube! I can’t remember what day and time I watched it! I have a newborn so my brain is sleep deprived!
jenni, that was this week’s episode of TAR. It was on Tuesday. Today is Thursday. 😉
