Finally a Nora Roberts books that ISN’T about three boys, three girls, magick and leprechauns. Finally a one-off book set in a normal non-mystical town (read: Savannah! YAY!).
In other words, I liked it.
This time the book was about a single mom who works as a negotiator for the Savannah police department. Vast improvement from her trilogies and this thriller kept me on my toes trying to figure out who was the bad guy intent on taking out the heroine of the book.
And that’s all I have to say about that. C’mon – it’s Nora Roberts. I have a feeling I don’t have to do an in-depth review for her books.
I have never read Nora Roberts before. As you know, I love reading books that a friend suggests. (see: Twilight Series, Harry Potter & Don’t know Much about”.. books)
However, if you are saying that her previous books are filled with:
Magic
Leprechauns and…
Mystical Towns
Then I am all over it. Please confirm. If Savanah is one of those books, let me know.
Ace, you definitely wouldn’t be interested in Nora Roberts’ books. They are essentially romance novels.
yeah… I gathered that after I looked up a few of your previous reviews… Romance Novels….. *barfs
I will hopefully be finished “The Host” before the next book in the Twilight Series comes out. I believe that is August.
“The Host” is just an ok read for me. Very easy to put down and not very easy to pick back up. I don’t care about the Characters enough.. only half way through and have had it well over 2 months.
I found it pretty boring for me. I guess I prefer the supernatural elements.
