That’s what time CootieBoy woke up this morning. Denis got up and when he opened the kids’ door to get the boy, CootieGirl piped up with a joyous, “Daddy!” and promptly got out of bed as though she, too, had gotten a full night’s sleep.
Denis brought them into bed with us, where CootieBoy enjoyed his morning bottle while CootieGirl drank some juice. We tried to keep things quiet, hoping they’d settle and fall asleep with us, but nothing doing. They were UP. And so for the next 2.5 hours (until I began getting ready for work at 7 a.m.), we had two kids playing in our room.
And because of the crazy morning both Denis and I forgot that today was “school picture day” at daycare, and neglected to dress up the kids in any way. :confused: I also neglected to tell Denis that CootieGirl needed more diapers at daycare. What are ya gonna do. By 7 a.m. we were all exhausted, frankly.
And once again let me say that I CAN’T WAIT FOR OUR VACATION IN NOVEMBER.
i also forgot it was school picture day! thank goodness i managed to brush my daughter’s hair this morning!
