I watched the remaining two episodes of this last night. While some portions of it were indeed better than the A&E version (mainly the voiceovers by Elizabeth Bennet and Jane’s visible attachment to Mr. Bingley), I still couldn’t help but make comparisons and found the BBC version a bit lacking in most regards.
And the jury has a verdict: Colin Firth reigns Supreme as Mr. Darcy.
