So yesterday on my way to work my odometer on my car rolled over to 15,000 miles. I’m impressed, since I’ve had the car a full year at this point (I bought it July 4 weekend last year). I honestly thought that I’d go over 15,000 much sooner given my long commute (60+ miles each day) and trips to Virginia to see my family.
As much as I hated buying it last year, I have to say that it has turned out to be a great little car. I’ve not had a day of trouble with it. The gas mileage is decent, the ride is quiet and smooth, and it handles well. I plan on getting it serviced on Saturday morning so that it’s ready for our upcoming road trip. And now that I’ve had the car for a year, I may go ahead and name her. She deserves a name by now. Any suggestions?
I think Elantra is kind of a cool name. 😉
