You guys all know how obsessed I am with the idea of building our own house in a few years. I took a break from looking at homeplans, architects and floorplans, but periodically I’ll come across something that I bookmark or take note of for future reference. One such group is Schumacher Homes, which is a national company that builds South Carolina Custom Homes. Right now they build mainly in the Columbia area, but I’m hoping by the time we go to build they will have widened their SC territory to include York County. Some of their floorplans are lovely and they offer a lot of nice upgrades.

They have a link on their site to Charlotte and even have something there for York, SC.
Hey you are right! I didn’t even think to look at the NC page – I figured a site like this would consider York to be in SC, not part of Charlotte.
