Girl Scout Cookies!

A couple months ago I placed an order for some Girl Scout cookies. You may recall last year when I bought an entire case of cookies. I was able to restrain myself this year to four boxes. They just arrived at my desk. Woo hoo!!

Denis bought a few boxes a while back, and I don’t think I ever told him that I had ordered some myself. In my bag I have two boxes of Samoas, one box of Thin Mints and a box of Thanks-a-Lots.

So I know I went on and on yesterday about losing weight, but it’s Girl Scout Cookie time, and KateSpot‘s daughter is selling. And I’m buying. A whole case. Woo hoo!! When they arrive I’ll put them all in my freezer and then take my time eating all the boxes over the next year. I bought a case last year and did the same thing – they lasted forever!! So if you want cookies, and want to help a little girl get a lot of points (I think that’s what Girl Scouts does, right – they give prizes to top sellers?), then go over to KateSpot and tell her you want cookies and lots of them!

In other news, dinner last night was downright decadent. Denis make stuffed shells – two different varieties. We had normal italian (meat, cheese, tomatoes) and then he also made a seafood alfredo kind. Of course, I ate way too many and there’s no way to gauge the amount of calories I had. Plus, Ace brought over a Bundt cake and I ate a nice big slice (even though it had a piece of Provelone cheese on it (don’t ask)).

Mmmm, ask D if he’ll make both pasta shell dishes for us next time we visit. We’ll save up some points in order to enjoy them without paying too dearly.

Have you tried the new cookies out that are Reese’s, Almond Joy, Hershey with Almond and York Peppermint Patty? The Reese’s is very much like my fave girl scout cookie, the Tagalong, which is why I won’t be ordering girl scout cookies this year unless hubby makes me.
